A message from the president of the Honokaʻa Business Assocciation:

Aloha!

The Honokaʻa Western Week Committee, Honoka’a Business Association, Hamakua-Kohala Health Center and others are very excited to bring Honokaʻa Western Week to the community again, May 22-31, 2021.

After a tough year, isn’t it time to get back in the saddle? We think so, and, while we know we can’t do some of the larger events—like the Parade & Block Party—we are committed and excited to doing the ones we CAN. So, stay tuned for details on things like a drive-thru Chili and Rice dinner, virtual Saloon Girls and Cowboys Got Talent Contest, Best Dressed Western Costume Contest and more. For sure, we’ll be holding our annual Silent Auction, even if it’s online this time.

That’s where you and your friends come in.

As you may have already seen, publicity is gearing up for the event series, and we would love to have you be part of it. Sponsorships bring awareness and important recognition as a supporter of our island’s unique educational community and cultural events.

We are humbly asking that your organization support the Western Week Committee with a donation in order to assist us as we help to connect the Honoka’a of today with its agricultural and paniolo past. This event gives us the opportunity to educate the community on Hamakua’s rich history.

Your organization will be recognized in news releases and advertising wherever possible and online via Honokaʻa Western Week on Facebook and our website. And, more benefits and upgrades are available with upscaled sponsorships.

Please let us know how you’d like to participate. Checks payable to “Honokaʻa Business Association” can be sent to P.O. Box 474, Honokaʻa HI 96727. If you have any questions, please contact Michelle Hartman at 808-775-9777.

We look forward to seeing you at Honokaʻa Western Week!

Mahalo,

Michelle Hartman
President, Honokaʻa Business Association
